Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular and diverse safari destination, offering a classic African wildlife experience blended with stunning landscapes and unique ecosystems. Located in western Uganda, the park stretches from the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains to the shores of Lake Edward and Lake George.

Famous for its incredible biodiversity, the park is home to over 95 mammal species and more than 600 bird species—making it one of the richest wildlife habitats in Africa. Visitors can enjoy thrilling game drives across open savannah plains, where elephants, buffaloes, lions, and antelopes roam freely.

One of the park’s most iconic experiences is the Kazinga Channel boat cruise, where you’ll get up-close views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and countless bird species along the water’s edge. In the Ishasha sector, you can witness the rare and fascinating tree-climbing lions—one of only a few populations in the world.
