Enjobe Safaris

Terms & Conditions

Understanding your agreement with Enjobe Safaris for a seamless adventure.

Our Agreement with You

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Enjobe Safaris (referred to as "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use our services. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to access the service.

It's important to review these terms periodically, as we may update them from time to time. Your continued use of the service after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the new terms.

2. Booking and Payments

  • Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A non-refundable deposit, typically 30% of the total safari cost, is required to confirm your booking. Specific deposit amounts and deadlines will be communicated at the time of booking.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is typically due 60 days prior to the safari start date. Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer and major credit cards. All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified. Any bank charges or credit card processing fees are the responsibility of the client.
  • Last-Minute Bookings: For bookings made within 60 days of the safari start date, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation by Client: Cancellations must be communicated in writing. Refund amounts are based on the timing of the cancellation:
    • 90+ days before safari: Full refund minus non-refundable deposit.
    • 60-89 days before safari: 50% refund of total cost.
    • 30-59 days before safari: 25% refund of total cost.
    • Less than 30 days before safari or no-show: No refund.
  • Cancellation by Enjobe Safaris: While rare, we reserve the right to cancel a safari due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., political instability, natural disasters, insufficient participants). In such cases, we will offer alternative dates, a comparable safari, or a full refund of all payments made to us.
  • Unused Services: No refunds will be given for unused services, including but not limited to, missed flights, early departures, or voluntarily omitted activities.

4. Changes to Itinerary

  • Client-Initiated Changes: Any changes requested by the client after booking confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional costs. We will endeavor to accommodate reasonable requests.
  • Enjobe Safaris-Initiated Changes: We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to itineraries due to operational reasons, local conditions, or force majeure events. Such changes will be communicated promptly, and we will always strive to provide alternatives of equal value. Major changes will entitle you to a refund if you choose not to proceed.

5. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for all clients traveling with Enjobe Safaris. Your policy must cover personal accident, medical expenses, repatriation, emergency evacuation, and safari cancellation. We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.

6. Health and Safety

  • Medical Conditions: Clients with pre-existing medical conditions or disabilities must inform us at the time of booking. We reserve the right to decline a booking if we believe the client's health condition could compromise their safety or the safety of others on the safari.
  • Vaccinations and Health Advice: It is the client's responsibility to obtain current information on vaccinations, preventative medicines (e.g., malaria prophylaxis), and other health precautions for travel to Uganda. Consult your doctor well in advance of your trip.
  • Participant Conduct: Clients are expected to act responsibly and follow the instructions of our guides. We reserve the right to remove any client from a safari if their behavior is deemed disruptive or a danger to themselves or others, with no refund.

7. Liability

  • Limitation of Liability: Enjobe Safaris acts only as an agent for third-party service providers (e.g., airlines, hotels, national parks). We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by these third-party providers.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, civil unrest, natural disasters, or government actions.
  • Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for their personal belongings, travel documents, and compliance with local laws and regulations.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
